US President Donald Trump made a strong statement regarding Venezuela and Cuba.
According to Modern.az, Trump stated in a declaration shared on social media that Cuba, for many years, received oil and financial support from Venezuela and in return protected the Venezuelan leadership, but this period has now ended.
According to Trump, the majority of Cuban forces protecting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro were destroyed as a result of the strike carried out by the US last week. He emphasized that Venezuela no longer needs the protection of “bandits and racketeers who have held the country hostage for years.”
The US President noted that henceforth, Venezuela will be protected by the United States of America, which possesses the world's most powerful army. Trump added that neither oil nor money flow to Cuba will continue, and this figure will be “zero.”
In his statement, Trump openly warned Cuba, advising them to “reach an agreement before it's too late.”
