Due to the expected unfavorable weather conditions on January 12, 54 flights (take-offs and landings) scheduled at Istanbul Airport have been canceled.
Modern.az reports that Yahya Üstün, media advisor of “Turkish Airlines” (THY), announced this.
According to him, it was stated that this decision was made by Turkey's Meteorological Emergency Committee (MADKOM), and the latest information regarding flights will be published on THY's official page.
It should be noted that due to the heavy snowfall expected tomorrow, educational institutions in Istanbul have also been suspended for one day.
