Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan evaluated the developments concerning Iran and Syria at a press briefing.
Modern.az reports that the minister stated it is in Turkey's interest for Iran to resolve its problems with key international actors and avoid unstable scenarios that could spread to the region. He also commented on information regarding Israel's and the US's plans to attack Iran.
The possibility of Israel and the US attacking Iran is not something we will confirm. We are against military intervention in Iran. Iran must solve its internal and real problems".
The minister also touched upon the developments in Syria.
"To ensure stability in Syria, the March 10 agreement must be implemented as soon as possible. If the YPG/SDG wish to demonstrate good faith, they should join a solution based on diplomacy and dialogue. Dividing the country into political entities, creating enclaves based on belief and ethnic affiliation, is an invitation to division," he said.
