The Investigative Committee of Armenia has detained one person in connection with the soldier's death on January 14.
Modern.az reports that, according to the Investigative Committee, during the preliminary investigation into the criminal case opened regarding the serviceman's death, a criminal case was initiated against one person under paragraphs 2 and 3 of part 2 of Article 522 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (negligently driving a serviceman to suicide).
"The person has been detained. A motion has been submitted to the court for a pre-trial detention measure," the Investigative Committee stated.
It should be recalled that on January 14, at approximately 9:50 AM, the p of soldier Vagan Petrosyan of military unit N of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia was discovered with a gunshot wound.
