A Ukrainian court has chosen a pre-trial detention measure in the amount of 33 million hryvnia regarding former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

Modern.az reports that Tymoshenko is also prohibited from leaving the Kyiv region without the investigator's permission.

Tymoshenko is not obliged to wear an electronic bracelet.

During her speech in court, she asked the judge not to impose any pre-trial detention measure at all.

It should be noted that a search was conducted at the office of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko's “Batkivshchyna” party. Work phones, parliamentary documents, and personal funds were seized from the office.

The former Prime Minister called these events a “political order” and rejected all accusations made against her.

Tymoshenko noted that there were more than 30 armed individuals in the office and they did not present any procedural documents.

It should be recalled that previously, Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) had announced that they had uncovered the fact that the head of a faction in the Verkhovna Rada offered money to deputies to vote for and against certain draft laws.
