As is known, in accordance with the bilateral agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia on January 14, and the principles of humanism, Vagif Khachatryan and 3 other individuals, who were found guilty under various articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and were serving their sentences in our country, have been handed over to Armenia.
Modern.az reports that after being handed over, V. Khachatryan was transferred to the "Nork-Marash" Cardiology Center in Yerevan.
V. Khachatryan's daughter, Vera, provided information to the Armenian media regarding her father's health and shared a photo with him from the hospital.
It should be recalled that during their detention in Azerbaijan, the rights of the individuals handed over to Armenia were fully ensured, and their health and conditions of detention met international standards.
The convicts were also subjected to a medical examination before being sent to Armenia, and their health was determined to be normal.
Among them, Vagif Khachatryan, whose health was not satisfactory, received all necessary medical assistance and was constantly under medical supervision.
