US President Donald Trump's next target after Greenland will be the Republic of Cuba
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that American political scientist Malek Dudakov said.
According to Dudakov, the next country US President Donald Trump will pressure after Greenland will be the Republic of Cuba.
"First of all, Trump must put in order the directions he has already started, because as we see, even here he faces numerous problems. Yes, he organized a “pirate raid” against Venezuela, captured Venezuelan President Maduro, but it is clear that currently, negotiations between Americans and the new government are very difficult.
The next obvious target for Trump to pressure will be Cuba. The economies of Cuba and Venezuela are very closely linked. Without fuel and oil supplies from Venezuela, the situation in Cuba will worsen.
According to him, no progress is expected in the near future regarding American corporations entering Venezuela's oil market. This is because companies refuse to invest there. It is both very expensive and, most likely, will not bring any profit in the coming years.
Dudakov emphasized that the US also has no significant progress on the Greenland issue.
