It has been revealed how many officials the Chinese authorities have punished for corruption.
Modern.az, referring to foreign media, reports that last year China carried out large-scale anti-corruption purges, and during this period, 69 high-ranking civil servants were punished.
Among them are also ministers.
According to the National Anti-Corruption Agency, in 2025, more than one million cases related to corruption were investigated. Based on the results of these investigations, 983 thousand people were subjected to various penalties.
According to information disseminated by Chinese news agencies, "there is no place left to hide" for criminals.
