“Iran may have used toxic chemical agents against protesters.”
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that former British Member of Parliament Bill Rammell stated on the "GB News" television channel.
He stated that there are factual reports reflecting cruel treatment of those detained during the demonstrations:
"It is presumed that some toxic chemical substance was used against the protesters, and consequently, some victims died a few days later.”
It should be noted that previously, Iran's supreme religious leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, emphasized while speaking about the protests in the country that the United States should bear responsibility for the unrest.
