Modern.az reports that, according to the "Kommersant" newspaper, this was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Lavrov recalled that, taking into account the military conflict in Ukraine, Russia considers it necessary "to eliminate the root causes of this crisis." According to him, Western countries have been deliberately creating these root causes for years to turn Ukraine into "a threat to Russia's security."
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said: "If you read the statements of European politicians and leaders - Kaja Kallas, Ursula von der Leyen, Mertz, Starmer, Macron, Rutte - they are seriously preparing for war against the Russian Federation and, in fact, do not hide it."
