Ukraine's High Anti-Corruption Court has decided to seize part of the property of Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the “Batkivshchyna” party.

Modern.az reports that the Ukrainian press has disseminated information about this.

According to the information, property belonging to Oleksandr Tymoshenko, the politician's husband, who is accused of bribing Verkhovna Rada deputies for money, as well as money and other items seized during searches, have also been seized.

Tymoshenko's lawyer stated that the defense is not satisfied with the court's decision and will file an appeal.

It should be noted that a Ukrainian court has chosen a preventive measure of bail in the amount of 33 million hryvnias for former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. Tymoshenko is also prohibited from leaving the Kyiv region without the investigator's permission. Tymoshenko is not obliged to wear an electronic bracelet.

It should be recalled that previously, Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) announced that they had uncovered the fact that a faction leader in the Verkhovna Rada offered money to deputies to vote for and against certain draft laws.
