Modern.az reports that US President Donald Trump told DW about this.
"What does the US gain from this? What do we gain? We are spending vast amounts of money on people facing death and destruction who do not appreciate our help. I am talking about NATO. I am talking about Europe. They should be dealing with Ukraine, not us. The US is very far away. A large, beautiful ocean separates us. This is not our war.
This does not benefit the US. But these are human souls. (...) This is a terrible war. The most terrible since World War II. If it continues, it will surpass it in scale. The number of casualties is astonishing. They do not want to talk about it. Both Ukraine and Russia have lost many people," Trump said.
