Putin said these words during a meeting with Donald Trump's special representative, Steve Witkoff.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that it is no longer possible to talk about Ukraine. Russia is continuing its military operations.
The talks between Putin and Witkoff took place behind closed doors at the Kremlin a day earlier and lasted 3.5 hours.
During the meeting, Trump's initiative to create a Peace Council, a number of regional issues, and the situation around Greenland were discussed.
