We consider the protest actions as the 13th day of the 12-day war.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahid Jalalzadeh during his meeting with Azerbaijani journalists.
“A few months ago, we had a 12-day war with the US and Israel. The plan was that there would be a military attack, and following that, the population would engage in protest actions. We consider the protest actions as the 13th day of the 12-day war. These past few months, we have lost 1000 martyrs; on Thursday and Friday, 3117 people from the public, the nation, and the police became martyrs. We consider what happened on January 8-9 as terrorist incidents. In which protests are 300 police officers killed? If even one person dies, it is from these protesters,” he noted.
