President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen was offended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's criticism of the European Union.

Modern.az reports that "Sky News" published information about this.

During his speech in Davos, Zelenskyy said that European allies were content with statements instead of taking real steps and accused the EU of inaction. Speaking about the European Union's weakness, he stated that the limited military contingent sent to Greenland was sending the wrong message, and that this was a dangerous signal for Russia and China.

In response to this, Ursula von der Leyen emphasized that the EU's support for Ukraine is measured not by words, but by concrete figures. According to her, aid amounting to 193 billion euros has been allocated to Kyiv in the last four years, and an additional 90 billion euros is planned for the next two years. The President of the European Commission said that these figures “speak for themselves.”
