Modern.az reports that, according to "News Nation" publication, the US Republican Party announces that it has a good "base" for the 2028 presidential elections and from this base, candidates can be put forward and develop Trump's legacy. Moreover, Trump himself has "favorite candidates." Currently, Trump is considering three people from his team as "political heirs" for the upcoming elections:
1. Vice President J.D. Vance
2. Secretary of State Marco Rubio
3. Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent.
According to Trump's previous statements, the person most likely to be nominated by the Republican Party in the 2028 presidential elections is Vance.
