In the US, over 230 thousand subscribers have been left without power amid a snowstorm.

 

Modern.az, referring to foreign media, reports that the total number of outages was 230,327. The most power outages were recorded in the states of Louisiana (66,838), Mississippi (63,559), and Texas (48,839).

 

According to the forecast of the National Hydrometeorological Service, heavy snowfall and dangerous icing are expected in the region from East Texas to North Carolina. A state of emergency has been declared in at least 21 states.
