Over the past 24 hours, at least six C-17A "Globemaster III" heavy military transport aircraft belonging to the US Air Force have carried out flights towards the Middle East.

Modern.az reports that this is noted in the data of the "Flightradar24" aviation resource.

According to the information, aircraft taking off from the main part of the US and carrying military cargo landed at the Muvaffaq Salti Air Base located in Jordan, as well as the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the Ali Al Salem Air Base located in Kuwait, and the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. A large military contingent of US fighter jets is stationed at the aforementioned bases.

It is reported that in the last week alone, C-17A "Globemaster III" aircraft have carried out approximately 20 flights to the Middle East with military cargo. At the same time, it has been recorded that a US EA-37B type aircraft, designed to disable communication, navigation, and radar systems, has also been sent to the region.

"The Wall Street Journal" reports, citing US officials, that additional air defense assets are also being transported to the Middle East with the aim of protecting against possible retaliatory strikes from Iran in the context of a potential American military operation.
