A new president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has been elected.

Modern.az reports that PACE has released information on this matter.

According to the information, Petra Bayr, a deputy from Austria, has been elected the 36th president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

It should be noted that previously, the position of President of the Assembly was held by Teodoros Rusopulos.
