Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have deported 87 foreigners, including Russian citizens, in recent days.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a press release by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to official information, citizens of Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Israel, India, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, China, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Nigeria, Russia, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and South Africa have been deported from Georgia.
These individuals have been banned from entering the country.
Georgia has recently been actively combating illegal migrants. The country's parliament has tightened migration legislation. Every month, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reports on the deportation of dozens of foreign citizens.
