Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's traditional meeting with ambassadors of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) accredited in Russia took place in Moscow.
Modern.az referring to the Russian Foreign Ministry, reports that Azerbaijani Ambassador Rahman Mustafayev also participated in the meeting.
Also, at the meeting, CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev and the heads of executive bodies of other Eurasian structures participated.
The meeting participants exchanged views on current international topics and summarized the results of multilateral cooperation within the framework of Eurasian integration associations in 2025.
“Strengthening foreign policy coordination, increasing interaction in trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres, and ensuring regional security, including, tasks for the near future have been defined”, - the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement noted.
