The Peace Council, established at the initiative of US President Donald Trump, welcomed Azerbaijan as a founding member.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a statement shared on the organization's “X” social media account.
“The Peace Council welcomes Azerbaijan as a founding member of our growing international organization”, the post noted.
It should be recalled that on January 22 in Davos, the signing ceremony of the document “Charter of the Peace Council” (“Board of Peace Charter”) was held. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also participated in that event.
