In India's Maharashtra state, all 5 people on board a charter flight plane that crashed, including the state's deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, have died.
Modern.az reports, citing Indian media, that the incident occurred around 9 AM local time at the airport in Baramati city, Puna region. The “Learjet 45” aircraft arriving from Mumbai city attempted an emergency landing at the airport. However, the plane crashed and caught fire. The other fatalities in the crash are the pilot and security service personnel.
According to preliminary assumptions, a technical problem caused the crash.
