US President Donald Trump announced that his country's armed forces are approaching Iran.

Modern.az reports, citing TASS, that he stated this during a speech to his supporters in Iowa.

Trump noted that the US destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities in June 2025.

"If we had lost another month, Iran would have acquired nuclear weapons. We were forced to strike Iran's nuclear facilities. Currently, larger forces are advancing towards Iran. I hope that Tehran will reach an agreement with us," the US President said.
