The political force led by Samvel Karapetyan is the clear favorite in the election race.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Levon Zurabyan, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian National Congress Party.
The assistant to Armenia's first president, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, noted that they are negotiating with Karapetyan's team, but no results have been achieved yet.
"Karapetyan and his team have the opportunity to achieve national consolidation. This depends on them, perhaps their moment of glory has arrived," he said.
It should be recalled that Samvel Karapetyan, who has a personal fortune of 3.2 billion dollars, is the owner of the "Tashir" company operating in Russia. He was arrested in June 2025 on charges of making public calls for the seizure of power, and was later released to house arrest.
