Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that he expects the partial opening of the border with Turkey in the coming days or weeks.

Modern.az reports that Ararat Mirzoyan said this at a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

According to him, the parties have already agreed on the restoration of the Gyumri-Kars railway.

"I hope that in the coming days and weeks we will see at least a partial opening of the border, and then, in time, its full opening. I am confident that this will be beneficial for both the Armenian and Turkish peoples," the minister emphasized.
