A regime that can only remain in power through violence and terror against its own population has no long-term future.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by German Chancellor Friedrix Merz.
“A regime that stands through violence and terror against its own people has its days numbered. This could be a matter of weeks, but this regime has no legitimacy to govern the country,” – the German Chancellor noted.
Merz also supported Italy's initiative within the European Union. He positively assessed the European Union's proposal to recognize Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.
