US President Donald Trump will deliver an unscheduled statement from the Oval Office this evening.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in information published on the Roll Call portal.
The speech is scheduled to begin at 16:30 US time (01:30 Baku time). Additionally, at 10:00 (19:00 Baku time), the American leader will participate in a closed intelligence briefing, and at 11:00 (20:00 Baku time), the head of state will hold a cabinet meeting.
Earlier, Trump stated that a "huge armada" led by the aircraft carrier "Abraham Lincoln" is heading towards Iran and is ready to "quickly fulfill its mission" if necessary. The White House leader called on the Islamic Republic for negotiations and threatened new strikes on Tehran if they refuse.
