US President Donald Trump stated that he has held talks with Iran in recent days and plans to continue them: "There have been talks, and I plan to continue them."
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that Trump stated this in response to a question from presidential correspondents.
However, the American leader did not disclose exactly with whom and when he held the talks.
The US President also reiterated that many giant US ships are currently positioned around Iran. "It would be great if we didn't have to use them," he said.
The American president also revealed his demands against Tehran.
"I told them two things. First, end nuclear weapons. Second, stop killing protesters," Trump said.
According to some claims, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is mediating between Trump and Iran.
