The cessation of funding by the US and Argentina has forced the World Health Organization (WHO) to undertake significant staff reductions.
Modern.az reports that the publication "Bloomberg" has released information on this matter.
According to the publication, the WHO will reduce approximately 25 percent of its staff by mid-2026.
The Director-General of the organization, Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus, stated that the upcoming year will not focus on strict austerity measures, but rather on the restoration and restructuring of the organization's activities.
