The leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, intends to participate in the parliamentary elections with the “Proposal for Armenia” program.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that the ruling “Civil Contract” Party, former president Robert Kocharyan, former ombudsman Arman Tatoyan, who leads the “Wings of Unity” initiative, as well as the “Unique” movement, whose ideological leader, businessman Samvel Karapetyan, has been in custody since June 18, had earlier announced their participation in the elections.
Additionally, in the elections, Yerevan's former mayor Hayk Marutyan with the “New Force” party, as well as the “Armenian National Congress” Party, whose list will be headed by deputy chairman Levon Zurabyan, will participate.
It should be noted that the elections will be held on June 7, 2026.
