The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has received generators and other necessary equipment from Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports that the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan has disseminated information on social networks regarding this.
The handover ceremony for the equipment took place with the participation of Andriy Danik, head of the State Service, and Yuriy Gusyev, Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan.
The Ambassador stated that the assistance provided was presented within the framework of the global campaign “Heat for Ukraine” implemented at the initiative of Andriy Sibyha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and is another important example of solidarity with Ukraine in a difficult period. According to him, this support provided by the people and organizations of Azerbaijan is highly appreciated.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed future cooperation opportunities between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in the field of civil defense and emergency response.
