Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has postponed his visit to the United Arab Emirates.
Modern.az reports that the Turkish presidential administration announced this on social media.
Erdoğan spoke by phone with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressed his regret over the latter's health problems, and wished him a speedy recovery.
The Turkish leader stated that he had postponed his planned visit to the Emirates on February 16 to "a more suitable time."
His visit to the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia was planned for February 16-17.
