Another Azerbaijani has lost his life in the Russia-Ukraine war.
According to information obtained by Modern.az, Jamalov Zaur Muhiddin oglu died in battles in the direction of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region.
It is known that he fought as a sniper as part of the Russian army.
Zaur Jamalov is reported to have been born in Azerbaijan on November 30, 1992, and to have lived for many years in Russia's Lipetsk region.
It should be recalled that the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, in an appeal to citizens on December 29 last year, had announced that participation in the Russia-Ukraine war, as well as in armed conflicts in other foreign countries, entails criminal liability.
