Armenia's former ambassador to the US, Lilit Makunts, has informed her inner circle that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is considering her as a possible speaker of the next parliament.
Modern.az, citing "Hraparak", reports that among other candidates in the ruling party are the current deputy speaker of parliament Ruben Rubinyan and the head of the "Civil Contract" faction Hayk Konjoryan.
In the internal party vote, Konjoryan and Rubinyan gathered more votes than Makunts and Speaker Alen Simonyan.
