French President Emmanuel Macron highlighted India's growing role in global innovation and governance.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that he stated that today, leading companies in the world are headed by Indian leaders.
According to Macron, the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the following international companies are Indian:
- Alphabet Inc., Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Palo Alto Networks, Novartis.
The French leader added that the Chief Executive Officer of Chanel, one of France's most iconic fashion houses, is also Leena Nair from Kolhapur, India.
Macron also emphasized that India is not merely participating in global innovations, but is leading this process. According to him, India's influence spans a wide area, from Silicon Valley to the Champs-Élysées, and from the technology sector to the cultural sphere.
