Heavy snow has fallen in Moscow, and an "orange" alert level has been declared in the capital. Dozens of flights have been cancelled, and traffic congestion on the roads has reached 8-9 points.
Modern.az reports that Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin shared information about this on his "Telegram" channel.
He stated that this winter is unusually severe: “The snowfall does not stop. Today, more than 70% of the monthly norm has fallen, which is an anomalous indicator”.
According to the Mayor's forecast, the snow will continue throughout the day and night, as well as the following day.
According to the Russian Ministry of Transport, due to adverse weather conditions, 19 flights have already been cancelled, and it was noted that six of them belonged to foreign airlines.
