With digital platforms dominating the advertising market, the scandal of "fake data" created by bots has turned into a global crisis.
Modern.az reports that, according to published reports, "false traffic", which accounts for approximately 9% of the $740 billion global advertising volume, causes $63 billion in losses.
It has been discovered that one out of every 12 clicks in the system is made by software bots. Consequently, advertisers' budgets are decreasing, and experts are issuing critical warnings that this "fake game" has already turned into a national security issue.
