Iranian and American delegations are preparing to hold the third round of nuclear talks in Geneva on Thursday.
Modern.az reports that Oman's Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi has confirmed that the third round of nuclear talks between Iran and the US will be held this Thursday in Geneva, Switzerland.
It was stated in a message published on the X social media platform that Oman's role in facilitating the indirect diplomatic process between Tehran and Washington was reaffirmed.
Oman's senior diplomat wrote: "I am pleased to confirm that US-Iran talks will be held this Thursday in Geneva, and additional efforts will be made towards finalizing an agreement."
This confirmation comes after Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi stated in an interview with CBS that he might meet with Steve Witkoff in Geneva on Thursday.
