Modern.az reports that Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh stated this during a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Suren Papikyan.
"Iran is not seeking war, but if the US attacks, the Islamic Republic will 'give its enemies a lesson they will never forget'," the Iranian Defense Minister's words are quoted on the government's official website.
Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani, for her part, stated that Tehran prefers diplomacy over war.
