Former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers has stated that he will resign from his teaching position at Harvard University at the end of the academic year due to his connections with Jeffrey Epstein.
Modern.az reports that Summers has also left his leadership position at Harvard's Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government and had resigned from the board of directors of OpenAI, the company that developed the ChatGPT artificial intelligence tool, the previous month.
Harvard representative Jason Newton stated that Summers will take a leave of absence until the end of the academic year and will then officially resign from all his positions. It is noted that Summers' private correspondence with Epstein has been disclosed, but no evidence of his illegal activities has been found. (Reuters)
