An unusual incident occurred on board an aircraft belonging to Russia's "Ural Airlines" during a Yekaterinburg-Istanbul flight.

Modern.az reports that immediately after the Airbus A320 aircraft took off from Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg, one of the passengers' charging devices (“powerbank”) caught fire.

The crew immediately intervened and extinguished the fire. First aid was provided to the passenger who sustained minor injuries.

The incident did not affect the flight, and the aircraft landed safely at Istanbul Airport. The airline stated that thanks to the crew's swift and coordinated operation, the fire was completely extinguished in a short time. (HaberGlobal)
