Former Prime Minister of Great Britain Rishi Sunak has been appointed advisor on economic recovery issues to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Modern.az reports that Sunak has joined the International Advisory Council on Economic Reconstruction under the President of Ukraine. This position is unpaid. He stated that it is an honor for him to support Ukraine and that a strong Ukraine needs a strong economy.
At the first meeting held on February 27, along with Sunak, the head of the World Bank and the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development also participated.
It should be noted that Sunak is currently a member of the British parliament and advises a number of international companies. (UNN)
