The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recommended its citizens to leave Iran.
Modern.az reports that, considering the ongoing unstable security situation in the Middle East, the ministry emphasized the importance of acting with extreme caution in the region.
The statement noted that Italians who are in Iran for tourism purposes or whose stay in the country is not essential should leave the area as soon as possible. At the same time, travel to Iraq and Lebanon is also not advised.
Italian citizens in Israel, however, have been advised to be extremely careful and vigilant. (Reuters)
