Iran refuses to negotiate with the US.
Modern.az reports that Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, wrote this on his Telegram channel.
"We will not negotiate with the US," Larijani stated.
The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic also stated that US President Donald Trump had plunged the Middle East into chaos with his "empty hopes."
Trump had previously stated that he had three candidates for the Iranian leadership.
Larijani wrote on the X social media platform: "Trump has plunged the region into chaos with his "empty hopes" and now fears more casualties among American troops."
On February 28, the US and Israel began striking targets in Iran. As a result of these strikes, Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei, as well as Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh and generals from the SEPAH leadership, were killed.
Iran launched retaliatory missile strikes on Israeli territory, as well as on US military facilities in the Middle East.
