The next target of US President Donald Trump, who announced the start of a large-scale military operation against Iran on February 28, will be this country: Cuba.
Modern.az reports that "The Atlantic" newspaper published information about this, citing a source in the US leader's administration.
According to the publication's sources, Trump sees himself as the first US president with the courage to "finish what others started". Trump believes that the reforms he has undertaken can elevate him to a higher level than former presidents Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, and Richard Nixon.
Earlier, Donald Trump stated that the US could "friendly take over" Cuba. He added that Havana is negotiating with Washington.
The US president called Cuba, to put it mildly, a "failed country".
“Secretary of State Marco Rubio is dealing with this issue at a very high level. And you know they have no money, no oil, no food. Currently, the nation is truly in a difficult situation and they need our help," Trump said about Cuba.
