Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said that attacks against Lebanon would not cease until the “threat” originating from the country is eliminated and Hezbollah is disarmed.
Modern.az reports that, according to a statement by the Israeli army, Zamir spoke after a consultation regarding the security situation on the northern border. He emphasized that the main focus is on Iran and that the war would not end without Hezbollah suffering a significant blow.
Zamir also stated that they are working in close cooperation with the US army and that Israel is ready to operate on several fronts simultaneously. According to him, the attacks are being carried out against the backdrop of a lack of response to warnings regarding Hezbollah's disarmament. (TRT Haber)
