The US embassy in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, was attacked by Iranian drones, as a result of which a part of the embassy's roof collapsed, but no injuries were reported.
Modern.az reports that, at the same time, two drone strikes hit the vicinity of the embassy in Kuwait City, but no damage or injuries were recorded. Both embassies were empty at the time of the attack.
The US also temporarily evacuated all personnel from its embassy in Jordan. Iran used Shahed drones in the attacks; the US, for its part, sent cheap single-use attack drones to Iranian territory for the first time. (UNN)
