A cargo ship sailing under the Maltese flag was struck by two missiles near the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Modern.az, the Royal Navy of Oman launched a rescue operation as soon as they learned of the incident.

The 24-member crew was safely evacuated and received necessary medical assistance. (ONA)
