Modern.az reports that White House Press Secretary Carolyn Livitt stated this during a briefing. According to her, this step is not included in the current plans, but no option is completely ruled out on behalf of the president.
Livitt stated that Washington, within the framework of negotiations with Tehran, offered to provide free nuclear fuel and invest in joint projects in the field of atomic energy with the aim of supporting the civilian nuclear program. The issue of lifting sanctions was also a subject of discussion.
She added that President Donald Trump is reviewing the US position regarding Iran in the post-conflict phase and is holding discussions with his advisors in this regard. Currently, the main focus is on the swift and effective completion of the military operation named “Epic Fury”. (TASS)
